Opmerkingen: PDF-XChange allows to quickly process pdf's without the need to gather the source it comes from. "Good, but some improve is needed to edit funcionality" Especially when you are trying to explain it to a user who has previously used (the other) PDF software.

To be fair, it does retain all of the formatting and you end up with a professional finish, but this extra step can be a bit taxing. you can then edit the text and resave as a PDF again.

Minpunten: The only downside to PDF-XChange, and I'll admit this is where it fails against the "other" PDF software we all know about, is that if you want to edit the text in a PDF document, you generally have to convert it to another format first (using the supplied tools). We constantly get requests from users asking for (the other software) and giving various reasons (usually given to them by suppliers) but when we show them what PDF-XChange can do, they quickly accept it. We've been using it since version 3.0 and we're still going. Ok, it's maybe not as polished as others but when you have 10,000 users, the savings quickly outweigh that. Pluspunten: PDF-XChange has all the features of the more expensive PDF editing software (you know the one I mean) at a much lower price. the price is great, the product is great and the service is great. Overall, I don't have any plans to move away from PDF-XChange. I've only used their customer support a few times, but I've always found them to be responsive and helpful. The extra tools for splitting, merging and redacting PDF documents are all great as well. It's cheap, reliable and is constantly being updated to keep up with hanging demands. Oh, I know one, it would be great if they offered a version for the Mac OS! Thus far, I haven't found a feature that's disappointed me. Minpunten: I'm struggling to find a fault with the software. Overall, I can't speak too highly of their software. It seems to let you configure almost anything - but, I didn't find that it was too difficult to figure out. I'm happy to say that PDF-XChange allowed me to customize the user interface with an extremely high degree of flexibility. For PDF software, this becomes even more important because I want to be able to easily configure the screen layout for reading different types of documents - and the navigation tools have to be convenient and intuitive as it seems I'm rarely reading sequentially through the pages like a novel. I get annoyed when I cannot customize the user interface so that just the tools I want are quickly available. Finally, I guess that I am a "power-user". PDF-XChange has done a pretty good job making it easy to accomplish what you set out to do. It's frustrating to spend a lot of time hunting and searching for what you need. Even though PDF software might have the features you need, I want them to be intuitive.
This software lets me do all of that and more. On top of that, I also need to print out Microsoft Word documents and combine the files together into user manuals, as well as edit them. Pluspunten: Like most folks, I frequently need to view PDF files as this is how most documentation is deployed. As I said, for some reason, the work (at least, this part of my work) almost seems fun when using PDF-XChange. With it, I get my work done quickly and easily. Opmerkingen: It sounds corny, but I now look forward to working with PDF files. "Don't see myself ever going back to Adobe Acrobat"
